YOU AND ICT: The Impact of ICT to every Individual and the Society

This is the 1st module in Empowerment Technology. It consists of 18 pages. It also contains various activities, quizzes, essays, and a post-test.

In this senior high module, students are going to learn about the emergence of the internet and the current state of ICT technologies such as Web 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, convergent technologies, and online systems, functions, and platforms.

At the end of this module, the students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate an understanding of ICT where they can compare and contrast the nuances of varied online platforms, sites, and content to best achieve specific class objectives or address situational challenges.

2. Apply online safety, security, ethics, and etiquette standards and practice in the use of ICTs as it would relate to their specific professional tracks.

3. Use the Internet as a tool for credible research and information gathering to best achieve specific class objectives or address situational challenges by studying the actions of different nations in addressing the Covid-19 crisis through the use of ICT.

4. Assess unique personal qualities, thinking processes, and talents by creating a reflection paper on how ICT strengthened them during the global crisis brought by the Corona Virus.
